A direction worth pursuing

Retest M-02 first

Both flux and rejection targets met.

Water flux61.6≥ 60
Rejection96.1%≥ 95%

M-03 has higher flux, but its 89.4% rejection falls short of the 95% target.

03 / LESS TO WRITE AT THE BENCH

Capture on your phone. Keep the research moving.

Speak a step. Add a photo or screenshot. Connect actual procedures, samples, and observations to the same experiment — ready when you return to your data and plan.

  • Voice, photos, and screenshots linked to samples
  • Actual steps alongside the original plan
  • Capture on your phone. Continue across devices.

04 / CONTEXT FOR THE DATA. GROUNDS FOR THE DECISION.

See the reasoning between data and decisions.

Keep the original detail.

Samples, units, test conditions, and original readings stay together. Trace organized results back to their files.

Compare in context.

See execution deviations, missing records, and differences in test conditions before treating results as comparable.

Make the next step specific.

Use results, past experiments, and research sources to propose a grounded next step, with open questions still visible.

BEFORE YOU JOIN

A few things to know.

How do I get started?

Apply for private beta access with your lab or organization. We’ll contact you about access and help you bring your research workflow into BenchMemo.

Do I have to configure a template first?

Start with your research question, a spoken note, or an existing file. BenchMemo organizes information around your experiment and plan. Experiment types help you find the workflow that fits your work.

Which experiments and files are covered?

BenchMemo is designed for academic and industry labs across disciplines. The workflows on this page are examples, not a restriction to one field. Tell us about your experiment types, instruments, and file formats when applying so we can discuss beta support for your lab.

Can it help with experiment design and analysis?

Define goals, variables, and controls; compare candidate plans; organize measurements; and analyze results in context. Use the findings and research evidence to work out a specific next experiment.

Do I need a computer at the bench?

Capture steps, photos, and observations on your phone. Import experiment files directly, and revisit the same plan, records, and analysis across devices.

Do I need to send unpublished data to apply?

Your application only needs contact details and any needs you choose to share. No experiment files are required. Data handling, access, and storage are explained before you bring in your research.

Is there a fee? Can I work in both languages?

Applying requires no payment or purchase commitment. Work with Chinese, English, and mixed scientific terminology. Include any language or deployment requirements in your application.

This notice covers the BenchMemo beta application website and the information you submit when applying.

Anonymous site statistics

We count page views, demo steps, and application milestones using a random identifier that lasts only for this page load. These events contain language and campaign information, never your name, email, organization, or written needs. We do not use tracking cookies or session recordings.

What we collect

Your email, name, lab or organization, country or region, preferred language, and the campaign link that brought you here. Research interests and notes are optional. We do not request experiment files.

Why we collect it

To maintain the beta list, understand the needs you choose to share, and contact you about the beta. We do not enroll you in a separate marketing newsletter.

Storage and access

Applications are stored in the website’s database and can be exported by authorized operators. The public website has no applicant directory. We retain applications while organizing the beta and review their continued need when the program changes.
